Terahvin rituals are performed to mark the final day of mourning after death of family member. The term Terahvin means thirteenth, and the ceremony is held on the thirteenth day after demise. Daan is offered to Brahmins who conduct the ceremonies, which includes Puja and Havan rituals. There are prayers and rituals to bring peace to the family. This Puja helps bring peace to the deceased member. Brahmin Bhoj is also offered to Brahmins after completion of the Puja.
